Democrats won a decisive victory in November, and now it’s time to gloat.
At a New Democratic Network panel discussion Friday, Morley Winograd, co-author of “Millennial Makeover: MySpace, YouTube, & the Future of American Politics,” said new voting demographics means the age of Republican control is over.
“America has not had this kind of demographic change since 1932,” Winograd said. “Democrats will win seven of the next 10 [presidential] elections.”
It’s “virtually impossible for Republicans to win a national election at this rate,” added Andres Ramirez, NDN Vice president of Hispanic programs.
