Vice President Biden will be the keynote speaker at Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy’s annual event in Chicago on Tuesday night. “His dedication to increasing medical research as well as his efforts to raise awareness of this devastating disease is astounding. We are incredibly grateful for all his work in this field,” said CURE Chairwoman Susan Axelrod. Susan’s husband and senior Obama adviser David Axelrod, NPR’s Peter Sagal, MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough are also expected to attend the fundraiser.
