It’s been a decadelong birthday wish in the making, but 94.7 Fresh FM’s Tommy McFly is finally getting the gift of morning drive. The popular DJ, who recently emceed the White House Easter Egg Roll and turns 25 on Friday, will take his afternoon program, “The Tommy Show,” to the 5:30 to 10 a.m. time slot starting June 20. “Since I got into the business when I was 15, my sights have been set on hosting a morning show. It’s a dream come true, and to do it in Washington, a city that I love, is just incredible. Best. Birthday. Present. Ever!” McFly told Yeas & Nays.
McFly’s show is the first fully live morning show for the station. Happy birthday, Tommy!
