He went to the Hill. Sat next to first lady Michelle Obama. And on Thursday, Oscar-winning actor (and human rights champion) George Clooney got some time with President Obama. The pair met in the Oval Office to discuss the issues in the border regions of Sudan and South Sudan. The Associated Press reported that Clooney says he is optimistic the president will press other world leaders to help the stricken region. The meeting lasted for about 15 minutes.
