Talk about having big shoes to fill. It was intern Daniel Hernandez who was credited for saving the life of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords when she was shot in January. On Monday, Giffords’ office posted a “help wanted” ad on her Facebook page for those who might be interested in working for the congresswoman. There are positions available in two Arizona offices, in Sierra Vista and Tucson, and also jobs in D.C.
Expect the office to receive many applications, too. More than 125 people “liked” the internship ad on Giffords’ Facebook page by Monday evening and it has attracted a slew of positive comments.
