Sanders appears with look-alike Larry David on ‘SNL’

Bernie Sanders left the campaign trail to make his debut appearance on “Saturday Night Live” alongside host Larry David ahead of the New Hampshire primary.

David has impersonated Sanders in the past on the show and Sanders has embraced the resemblance. On the campaign trail, the Vermont senator has even joked, “I am Larry David.”

In the candidate’s brief appearance on the show, Sanders appeared with David on a skit aboard the Titanic. The two discussed how it was unfair that only “the 1 percent” was going to be saved and even impersonated Donald Trump’s pronunciation of “yuge” with a “y.”

Later on the show David asked Sanders how he thought the race in New Hampshire was going and Sanders replied it was “pretty, pretty, pretty, good.”

Sanders currently leads Hillary Clinton in the New Hampshire polls by a comfortable margin with the primary coming Tuesday.
