On the heels of consumer advocate Elizabeth Warren announcing that she was forming an exploratory committee for a Senate run, Emily’s List has already sprung into action. The pro-abortion, Democratic political action committee emailed supporters on Friday asking that they encourage Warren to run. “If we’re going to beat Scott Brown in 2012 (and I don’t know about you, but I really want to send him packing), we’re going to need a candidate who understands the real struggles that working families are facing in Massachusetts,” wrote Emily’s List President Stephanie Schriock. “Elizabeth has the chops to do it.”
