On the small screen
Washington may be Hollywood for ugly people but Hollywood sure is taking a liking to us lately.
Exhibit A: Casting has already started for HBO’s pilot, “The Washingtonienne,” based on the novel by former Capitol Hill seductress Jessica Cutler. Filming is scheduled to take place in Baltimore and D.C. for approximately nine days in November.
Exhibit B: Washington’s soon-to-air reality show, “Blonde Charity Mafia,” is going to make you wait even longer (as if you haven’t waited long enough for a local reality show). We’ve learned that the Lifetime show, staring local hotties Katherine Kennedy, Krista Johnson and Sophie Pyle, has had its debut air date pushed back from November to January. Smart move: Lord knows Washingtonians spend all of November catching up on sleep from the brutal campaign cycle.
