Former FEMA head Michael Brown, who drew downpours of criticism for his handling of Hurricane Katrina, now has a natural disaster of his own with which to contend.
According to the Colorado Independent, Brown is among more than 11,500 residents who have had to evacuate their homes due to wind-fueled wildfires north of Boulder, Colo.
Brown was the target of scorn after President Bush told him, “Heckuva job, Brownie” in the early days of the Katrina catastrophe.
