ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings and Gov. Martin O’Malley will meet with the owner and employees of a Catonsville cafe for a minimum wage rally.

The rally starts at 1 p.m. Thursday at Atwater’s, a bakery and cafe. The owner, Ned Atwater, pays employees more than the current minimum wage of $7.25, according to a news release from a group advocating a minimum wage hike.

The group expects a turnout of more than 50 minimum wage supporters.
