One day after announcing her presidential ambitions, one of Michele Bachmann’s former staffers has already aired out the Minnesota congresswoman’s dirty laundry. In the Des Moines Register, former Chief of Staff Ron Cary penned an op-ed calling Bachmann’s congressional office “wildly out of control.” “If she is unable, or unwilling, to handle the basic duties of a campaign or congressional office, how could she possibly manage the magnitude of the presidency?” he wrote. Bachmann clearly has a love-hate relationship among congressional staffers.

Here’s how she’s viewed by some of Capitol Hill’s top congressional aides in Washingtonian Magazine’s 2010 list of Best & Worst of Congress:

No. 1: Where Bachmann ranked in the “clueless” category

No. 2: Her ranking in the category of “showhorse”; she lost the top spot to Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee

No. 3: Spot she took in the “least eloquent” category behind Reps. Corrine Brown, D-Fla., and Joe “You lie” Wilson, R-S.C.

4: Chiefs of staff in the past four years Bachmann has gone through, according to an April profile in the New York Times
