Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will begin airing a new ad in New Hampshire called “Enough,” that flat-out calls Donald Trump a “jerk.”
It features footage of what Trump’s critics say is him mocking a disabled reporter, which drew heavy criticism from Republicans and Democrats alike. Trump said later he didn’t know who the reporter was, but GOP candidate John Kasich said Trump was “absolutely” mocking him.
“We’re all equal under God’s watchful eye that’s what I believe,” Bush is shown saying in the ad. “And when anybody, anybody, disparages people with disabilities, it sets me off.”
The ad comes hours before the next GOP presidential debate in South Carolina and may provide a preview of the type of confrontation Bush may instigate on Thursday evening. Bush ranks sixth in the Washington Examiner‘s newest GOP presidential power rankings. Trump ranks first.
