Henry, Tapper take in Nats win

It indeed was White House correspondents night Tuesday at Nationals Park with both CNN’s Ed Henry and ABC’s Jake Tapper catching the game between the Washington Nationals and the Philadelphia Phillies. Henry, who cheers for the Nationals (and the Yankees, also) loved everything about the 10-2 Nats win. “It was great to not only see a Nationals victory, but the defeat of Cliff Lee who spurned my Yankees,” Henry said, referring to the Phillies pitcher who had flirted with the Yankees during the offseason. Tapper did not share the sentiment. “Two homers in a row! Rally?” Tapper, a Phillies fan, tweeted hopefully before giving up and leaving during the 7th inning. “I’m sorry that Jake had a long night,” Henry laughed, “But the Phillies are going to have a good year.”
