After a long day of cheering for D.C. statehood, “Heroes” star Hayden Panettiere was spotted late Friday night at Lima, where she showed up for the club’s Global Party. There, Panettiere hung out with DJ Taryn Manning, the singer-songwriter and fashion designer also known for her acting roles in “8 Mile” and “Hustle & Flow.” Earlier Friday, D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray proclaimed that it was “Hayden Panettiere Day” in the District, calling on all residents to commend “this distinguished individual on all of her accomplishments and contributions to society.” Panettiere had previously come out for D.C. self-determination during the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver and during President Obama’s inaugural festivities. Panettiere attended a fundraiser for D.C. statehood at Cities before heading to Lima.
