For all the tension between Donald Trump and Fox News throughout the election, the president-elect is eyeing several people with close ties to the network and its payroll to fill out his cabinet.
Here is a list of current or former Fox News personnel Trump has appointed positions in his administration or is reportedly considering for jobs.
- K.T. McFarland — She was named deputy national security adviser last week, and is a former Fox News analyst and Pentagon official in the Reagan administration.
- Ben Carson — The former Fox News commentator and Republican presidential candidate was asked to be Trump’s Housing and Urban Development secretary.
- John Bolton — Under consideration for secretary of state, Bolton is a current Fox News analyst and former ambassador to the United Nations in the George W. Bush administration.
- Sarah Palin — Palin is reportedly under consideration for secretary of interior, and is a former Fox News contributor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee.
- Laura Ingraham and Monica Crowley — Both are reportedly under consideration for White House press secretary, and are current Fox News contributors.
- Mike Huckabee — This former host of Fox News’ “Huckabee” is also a past presidential candidate and could be Trump’s Health and Human Services secretary.
- Scott Brown — Brown is a former Fox News contributor and Massachusetts senator, and is reportedly under consideration to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs.
