Comedy Central host Stephen Colbert both applauded and scoffed at the hefty price AOL recently paid for Arianna Huffington’s Web site, the Huffington Post. Calling the deal a “win-win,” he gave Huffington a “wag wag” of the finger for making moolah off of other people’s work. “Because HuffPo is famous for its extensive, comprehensive coverage of what other people produced and put on the Internet,” Colbert said on his Wednesday night show. The comedian pointed out that the Huffington Post hosts a whole page of content from “The Colbert Report.”
“You have achieved the impossible,” he said. “You have made me feel angry while looking at pictures of myself — where’s my money, Arianna?”

In mock retaliation, Colbert then proudly announced the creation of his new Web site, the Colbuffington Re-Post, which is basically the Huffington Post with a different border around it.
And for potential buyers? He’s hoping the CoBuffington Re-Post will go for a cool $316 million. AOL purchased the Huffington Post for $315 million.
Take that, Arianna.
