Pope Francis’ visit to the U.S. this week looks like it will dominate the discussion as Cardinal Donald Wuerl, archbishop of Washington and Rev. Thomas Rosica, a Vatican spokesman, appear on “Fox News Sunday.”
Their appearances are unusual in a lineup mostly dominated by 2016 candidates. Republican presidential candidates Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., Donald Trump, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fl., Ohio governor John Kasich, Ben Carson, New Jersey governor Chris Christie, and Carly Fiorina will all appear on the Sunday morning shows, as the round-table discussions are sure to dissect their performances during CNN’s GOP debate Wednesday.
Also unusual: Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will continue her sudden media blitz and appear for an interview on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”
Guest lineups for the Sunday TV news shows, per the AP:
