Illegal immigrant group writes their own ‘Bill of Rights’

A pro-illegal immigrant group, United We Stay, created a “Bill of Rights” but unlike the Founder’s document, they demanded handouts instead of freedom from the government.

The Washington Times reported that the group listed 10 items, like the Constitution’s Bill of Rights, including an end to deportations for “all law-abiding undocumented Americans.”

“We know we have human rights, even though our very presence is deemed illegal and our existence alien. Now we have our own Bill of Rights and we want it to be the framework for every immigration decision going forward from the local to the national level,” said United We Stay in a statement announcing their demands.

Other demands included citizenship rights, in-state tuition at public colleges, “wage equality,” free medical care, and a reversal of Texas’ law to deny illegal immigrant children citizenship.

They also want to end the terms “illegal” and “alien” because they are “dehumanizing.” They much prefer the term “undocumented worker” or “undocumented American.”
