[WATCH] ‘Kimmel’ asks pedestrians fake Super Bowl questions … and they answer them

How did New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady perform in the Super Bowl on Sunday? Perhaps “not great”? Or maybe you thought “he killed it”?

Or how about NOT AT ALL. Because, after all, Brady’s team didn’t even play in the big game.

On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos faced off for the title of NFL champions. And on Monday, comedian Jimmy Kimmel sent out a camera crew to ask pedestrians fake questions about the Super Bowl for a post-game edition of “Lie Witness News.”

As usual, Kimmel’s crew caught plenty of people claiming they watched the game — when they clearly didn’t.

“Tom Brady killed it last night, actually,” one young man said. “He threw real well to the Seattle receivers.”

As the video continued, the questions got increasingly ridiculous, involving things like letting a random kid play for the Seahawks and giving the game a fifth quarter. And yet, people kept claiming they’d seen the game.
