President Trump is coming up on his first 100 days in office, and even though he has the worst favorable ratings of any POTUS since Bill Clinton, young Republicans are giving him a good grade.
CBS News interviewed five college Republicans who attend Texas A&M University on Wednesday to grade the President’s first 100 days. To the shock of the interviewer, all the students generally praised Trump saying that he’s been keeping his campaign promises.
“I give him just a flat A,” Conor Devlin said. “He’s sort of entering into the presidency and not taking no for an answer and doing what he wants to get done as much as he can, and he’s going to shove that down the opposition’s throats.”
Of course, after praising the President, the interviewer from CBS asked the student what the most cringe-worthy thing Trump has done — the same kind of question surely they would’ve asked young Democrats during Obama’s first term in office.
They said that tweeting in the middle of the night and the controversy surrounding Gen. Michael Flynn.
The students agreed however that the most important issue the President should be tackling is jobs and the economy, something millennials are especially concerned about with their graduation looming in the near future.
