Bobby Jindal: Hillary Clinton should get prison tips from Martha Stewart before her server sends her there

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal’s presidential campaign may be losing steam, but his ability to tell a good joke seems to be growing.

Jindal’s Iowa press tour has focused on Hillary Clinton’s lies about her emails and her private server, which was finally turned over to the Department of Justice Tuesday.

Jindal said Tuesday in remarks released by his campaign that “she’s one email away from prison time” and pinpointed the perfect celebrity role model for the Democratic candidate.

“Maybe her friend Martha Stewart can stop giving her interior decorating advice and give her jailhouse survival tips instead,” he said. “Orange really will be the new black.”

Stewart famously served time in prison for insider trading and other charges.

Stewart told Bloomberg Politics at the White House Correspondents Association Dinner that she liked “the lady that’s running,” and that she didn’t mean Republican Carly Fiorina. Stewart and Clinton used to film decorating segments together during Bill’s presidency in the 1990s.
