An illegal immigrant who was previously arrested four times on narcotics charges brutally attacked and raped a California woman.
According to the Santa Maria Times, Victor Aureliano Martinez Ramirez allegedly attacked 64-year-old Marilyn Pharis, brutally raping her and beating her with a hammer on July 24 while she was asleep in her home.
Pharis died eight days later from her injuries.
Ramirez was arrested previously while breaking into another home near to Pharis’ own and charged with attempted murder, first-degree burglary with a person present, assault with intent to commit rape, sexual penetration by foreign object and resisting a peace officer. His bond was set at $1 million.
The day before Pharis died, he pled not guilty to those charges.
It seems that Democratic Rep. Luis Gutiérrez’s claim, that the murder of American citizens by illegal immigrants is a “little thing” that just happens, has happened again.
