Who says that think tanks are full of boring, stuffy, wonkish types with no sense of humor?

You may recall that TMZ.com went back and forth in 2007 over whether to open TMZDC.com in our fair city. Ultimately, it decided against the idea, but has still kept its eyes and ears open for local gossipmongers willing to write for the site anonymously.
Ginder, who serves as special assistant to the senior vice president for communications and strategy at CAP (and once interned for Rep. Loretta Sanchez), decidednot to continue writing for the site, namely because he’s got a new novel coming out soon (“This Is How It Starts” is about a college graduate — and LateNightShots.com member — trying to make his way in Washington), and Ginder’s agent didn’t think his continued association with the Hollywood Web site was a good idea.
