is making like Wolfgang Puck. On Sunday night, the legendary tenor and general director of the Washington National Opera celebrated the opening of La Sandia in Tysons Corner, the sixth restaurant he’s opened with Chef Richard Sandoval.

Earlier this decade, the singer approached Sandoval about opening up a restaurant, and in 2003 they debuted Pampano in New York City. From there, it was onto Zengo in our very own Penn Quarter, La Sandia in Denver, Pampano in Mexico City, Madeiras in Acapulco, Mexico, and finally La Sandia in Tysons this weekend.
