Michael Jordan‘s basketball skills have diminished, but not his trash-talking abilities.
In a recent interview to promote the NBA 2K11 video game, Jordan claimed he could score 100 points if he played today … and he tossed a barb directly at Kobe Bryant.

“If you are talking about guards, I would say he has got to be in the top 10,” said Jordan of Bryant.
Here’s who isn’t bothered by the statement: Kobe. Think he doesn’t have enough fuel on the fire after LeBron James and the Miami Heat stole his offseason headlines before the confetti had stopped falling on the Lakers’ second straight NBA title?
“That stuff doesn’t get to me,” Bryant told Yahoo! Sports when asked about Jordan’s comments. “You can’t motivate me or take me to a place that I’m not already at.”
Considering the fact that Bryant’s team got better in the offseason, too, and he’s going for a sixth championship — which would match Jordan — it’s the rest of the NBA that should be mad at MJ.
