A celebrity-studded event Tuesday night on the Hill was designed to promote advances in medical technology, but quickly turned into a towel-snapping session. And in true locker-room fashion, the jocks ended up picking on the little guy.

Regis Philbin, host of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” and the event’s emcee, kicked things off at the expense of Pittsburgh Steelers great and NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw.

“Thanks a lot for dressing up tonight,” Philbin told Bradshaw, who was the only man out of six on stage not wearing a tie. “We really appreciate it.”

The Hall-of-Famer laughed at the joke, but it was iconic Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka who got even, calling the 5-foot-7 Philbin a “leprechaun.”

No word on whether they stuffed him into a locker after the event.
