Plenty of things to talk about so let’s jump right in….
For all of you who did not get a chance to score tickets to tonight’s big Chelsea-A.C. Milan game in Baltimore you will be able to see the game On ESPN at 8p.m. Adrian Healey and Alexi Lalas will be calling the game.
Should be a great game and I strongly recommend you tune it in.
The Caps will be returning to WFED-1500AM for another season. Great news for the hottest sports team in Washington and their fans as they Rock the Red on 1500AM for the 2009-2010 season. I expect that the talented “Iceman” Steve Kolbe will return for his lucky 13th season as the voice of the Caps, also his partner Ken Sabourin will be back as well. I hope that the rest of the pre and postgame team of Mike Vogel and Jonathan Warner will be back as well.
The Nationals are on the clock now as they will be courted by WFED, ESPN 980AM and 106.7FM The Fan. While you can bet there will be plenty of conversations going on behind the scenes nothing will happen till after the season.
The Nat’s are looking for a partner who will give them year round programming and in season promotion. With 162 games a year and a big stadium where shows can be done look for the team to get a very favorable deal.
Good news from CBS College Sports as they have added Army to their programming schedule. That gives them all the service academies. Navy as we know are part of the CBS College family and Air Force through the networks deal with the Mountain West is part of the family.
