On the windshield of the coach bus heading from the Pepsi Center to the Google/Vanity Fair party on Thursday night hung a classic sign – of the times. “House ethics rules prohibit us from providing free transportation to members and the staff of the U.S. House. The Senate Ethics Committee has determined that such transportation is permissible for senators and Senate staff.”
