MASN has the LAX NCAA PLAYOFFS

On Saturday, May 19, MASN will air two lacrosse games live from Princeton University. At 12:00 p.m. ET, the undefeated Cornell Big Red (14-0) will take on the Albany Great Danes (15-2) at Princeton Stadium. Cornell will make its 20th NCAA appearance, including four consecutive appearances under head coach Jeff Tambroni. The Great Danes and Coach Scott Marr advance to the quarterfinals after their first ever win in the NCAA tournament.

At 3:00 p.m. ET, the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays (10-4) will meet the Georgetown Hoyas (12-2). This is the Blue Jays’ 36th consecutive appearance in the NCAA tournament. In the first round, Georgetown narrowly defeated Princeton with a 9-8 win in overtime to advance in the tournament.

On Sunday, May 20 at 6:00 p.m. ET, MASN will televise the afternoon match-up between the Fightin’ Blue Hens of Delaware (12-5) and the UMBC Retrievers (11-5) from the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. The teams meet fresh off of stunning defeats of lower seeded teams in the first round. Head Coach Bob Shillinglaw and his Blue Hens shocked defending champions, University of Virginia, with a 14-8 victory in the first round. UMBC, led by Head Coach Don Zimmerman, defeated the No. 6 seeded Maryland Terrapins to advance to the quarterfinals.


At 8:30 p.m. ET, MASN will air the daytime match between the Duke Blue Devils (15-2) and the University of North Carolina Tar Heels (9-5). This marks the third time the rivals have met this season, with Duke winning the first two match-ups.

ESPN is the home for LAX next weekend. 

The Final 4 on Saturday, May 26 at 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. ET at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The championship game will be held on Monday, May 28 at 1:00 p.m. EST, also at M&T Bank Stadium.

College sports action in the Bay area this weekend features PAC 10 Track action and a huge college baseball battle between Texas and Texas A&M. Also on Comcast Bay Area noon Saturday and Sunday offers NCAA LAX action.
