It will be a banner day for celebrities in town today. At 1 p.m. in front of the Capitol, Grammy winner Patti Page will join country artist Kellie Pickler at the National Committee of Grandparents for Children’s Rights third annual national “GrandRally.”

Meanwhile, “America’s Most Wanted” host (and partner in the new Museum of Crime and Punishment) John Walsh speaks at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s 13th Annual congressional breakfast.

In the evening, Rajmohan Gandhi, author and grandson of Mohandas Gandhi, speaks at the National Press Club, while gospel legend Shirley Caesar attends the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation’s 11th Annual “Spirit of Democracy Awards” dinner.

This on top of Mariska Hargitay, Patti LaBelle, Maya Angelou and Cuba Gooding, who are already expected to be here for various causes and events.
