Some players worth picking

They won’t go high in the first round, if at all. Regardless, one scout says these three players haven’t received enough attention. Here’s his scouting report:

Ohio State DE Cameron Heyward » “He’s been totally overlooked because he didn’t play in an all-star game. He was a dominant player at Ohio State every year. His last game against Arkansas he kicked the [stuffing] out of the tackle [DeMarcus Love], and yet everyone is talking about J.J. Watt, which drives me nuts. Cameron will be a better pro. He’s a great guy, hard working.”

Iowa DE Adrian Clayborn » “Everyone wants to talk about his [Erb’s palsy], which is not new. He had it the whole time he played at Iowa, and he was a dominant player before everyone in the media knew about it. How is it that it now kills his value? And he was a better player than J.J. Watt for a longer period of time. For teams that run a 4-3, he’s a good defensive end.”

Miami WR Leonard Hankerson » “I’ve been a huge fan of Hankerson, and he should be the third receiver drafted — at the end of the first or early in the second — and he’ll be a great pro right away. He can start and have a lot of catches. In every game I watched, he made a pro catch, a tough catch in traffic, a great run where he avoids someone. He’s just ready. And all he did at the Senior Bowl was practice great and play great.”
