    The damaged Royal Shell Dutch drilling barge Kulluk is   loaded onto the transport ship XRK in Unalaska, Alaska, on Tuesday, March 19, 2013.  After the Kulluk is secured, the tow ship will take it to Singapore for repairs.  The Kulluk drilled in the Beaufort Sea last year and was being towed to Seattle when it broke loose from its towing vessel and ran aground on New Year's Eve near Kodiak Island.

    This week, students at East High School in Anchorage, Alaska had an active shooter drill where a police officer fired blank shots from a handgun while students stayed inside their classrooms and school administrators alerted people about the fake shooter.
