The National Zoo announced Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 that it is naming its giant panda cub Bao Bao after receiving more than 123,000 votes from the public. The zoo asked the public to vote for one of five names. The others were Ling Hua, Long Yun, Mulan and Zhen Bao. The panda cub was born Aug. 23.
