The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s announcement of a new moratorium on evictions until Oct. 3 of this year may be good news for millions of tenants in areas that face the rapid spread of COVID-`19, but it’s bad news for landlords, many of whom have been hurt by tenants using the moratoriums as an excuse not to pay rent. As Doug McKelway reports, landlords are also suffering from the slow pace of government reimbursements.
