Speculation about how the Supreme Court will rule on Mississippi’s new law that bans almost all abortions after 15 weeks has largely centered on whether the justices will overturn Roe v. Wade. It may be misplaced speculation. As Doug McKelway reports, based on the justices’ line of questioning Wednesday, there’s a good chance that the high court may strike a more balanced interpretation, leaving the right to an abortion up to the individual states.
