Nats vs. Mets – Lineups

Published May 19, 2010 4:00am ET

The Nats (20-20) try and snap a five-game losing streak when they return home tonight to face the New York Mets (19-21). Washington took two-of-three games in Queens last week before faltering against the Rockies and Cardinals. Adam Dunn is back in the lineup for Washington. He last started in both games of Saturday’s doubleheader at Colorado. He followed with a pair of pinch-hitting appearances and then returned to Washington Tuesday for a “minor procedure”, according to manager Jim Riggleman. The Nats have scored just 10 runs during this losing streak – something they need to change tonight against Mets recall R.A. Dickey, a journeyman knuckleballer who was 4-2 with a 2.23 ERA in eight starts with Triple-A Buffalo. Washington counters with Livan Hernandez, who volunteered to pitch on three days rest thanks to Saturday’s doubleheader. The man with the rubber arm shouldn’t have any issues considering it’s a one-time thing. Hernandez is 4-2 with a 1.46 ERA. Stay tuned during the game for updates on phenom Stephen Strasburg, who makes his third Triple-A start at Syracuse. The lineups:
